Rest In Peace

“HoHoHo, merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.” Said my mom as she read us the last of the Christmas story before we went to bed.
“Oh Bryan, we need to put out the Christmas cookies and milk for Santa.” I said when my mom was finished.
“Oh ya, I almost forgot. I can’t wait till Santa comes and I hope he gives me tons of gifts.” My brother repeated from the bathroom while brushing his teeth.
After going through all the racket of Christmas Eve bedtime what not, we finally settled into our beds. During the night, while attempting to sleep, we dreamt of sugar plum fairies and Christmas gifts.

“Heathey, Heathey, wake up, wake up, Santa came, Santa came. Come on get up, get up, lets go.”
My brother decided that he was going to wake us up at six in the morning to open presents. I mean the kid was ready to explode like a shaken bottle of soda and mentos. So ya, I woke up to open presents with the family.
Not really awake, or able to see, I wiped the sandman goo out of my eyes and stumbled to the hallway. Hoping not to trip, I walked to the living room and sat on the couch.

Rattle. Rattle. Crinkle. Thud. Crackle. . . .
There was a noise coming from the presents under the tree. Both me and Bryan at the same time lunged at the hole infested box.
“Be careful please, you never know what’s in there.” My mom said, kinda nervous. As soon as the bow was tossed, the paper ripped and excitement was out the window, a puppy jumped out.

Suddenly, after the moment of shock, me and Bryan both screamed and hugged the puppy.
“Oh my god, I always wanted a puppy for Christmas.” I said.
“I love her, I love her, what are we going to name it?” Bryan repeated.

“Well, she was adopted from the Attleboro animal shelter and she already had a name. So, me and mom wanted to keep it.” Said my dad.
“So, what is her name?” I said.
“Her name is BOOMER!”

Mysterious Waters

Gasping for air was his only option. Head throbbing and limbs weak, Alex saw his life flash before his eyes. Slowly his dreams faded into complete darkness.
“Hello?” There was silence. “Is anyone there? Helllloooo…… What happened dude, where am I?” Alex had just awakened to find himself in a room covered with small crustations. In the distance was a small scattering but faint sound of clacking.
Alex could not believe his eyes; in the distance was a large wave of crabs and lobsters. Dazed and confused, Alex just sat and stared as if not knowing what else to do. He blinked once and suddenly the wave was larger and filled with more creatures. As all these creatures came forth, they began to form a large shape. Alarmed and dumbfounded, Alex watched as the giant mass started to become a face.
The face grew eyes, a nose, a mouth; standing at an enormous height of nine feet Alex, for the first time in his life, was at a loss of words. The monster began to mumble what seemed to be like a grotesque gurgling noise, much like leaky plumbing. Alex could feel the tears build in his eyes; the monster cracked and snapped with every move. The gurgling noises transformed into words that Alex will never forget.
“You have drowned Alex; I hold the key to your life.” Blankly staring Alex only managed, “Dude what?”
“Your dead, but I will spare you one more chance, on one condition………. You shall never surf on my waters again or pay the price that will be given.”
Before Alex could respond, there was a blank white fog. With not a sound, he could not recollect what was happening. Salty liquid swept over his limp body, filling his lungs.
Seconds later, he heard seagulls gawking and waves crashing, but tasted the granulated sand that was stuffed in his mouth. Faded in the distance he herd his friend mike ask if he was alright.
“Ya dude I’m cool, no prob.”
“Well then lets catch another gnarly ten footer.” Replied mike.
“Uh, Um, Well I, I can’t. You’ll totally never believe what just went down dude…….”

Community Interaction:

For my community interaction I was going to ask a few 1st graders and other people to draw me a picture of what they think creativity is to them or what they find creative. I was going to ask my brothers class at FCS to do this and also a few neighbors and friends.

Declaration:

My concept is creativity. I chose to do this concept because it represents me and I wanted my concept to reflect some of me in some way. As you know I am very creative and weird, so my concept fits me like grip tape to a new pair of skate kicks.
